1. Operator and scope
UNIQ WAY is a commercial brand operated by MB UNIQ GROUP, company code 308087387, registered at Perkūnkiemio g. 19, LT-12120 Vilnius, Lithuania (“UNIQ WAY”, “we”, “us”). These terms apply to consumers and business customers unless separate corporate terms apply.
A person making a booking confirms that they are at least 18 and authorised to accept these terms for every passenger included in the booking.
2. Booking and confirmation
A submitted request is not confirmed until UNIQ WAY issues a booking confirmation or confirms successful payment. The customer must provide accurate pickup, destination, passenger, contact, flight, luggage and special-requirement information. We may request clarification before acceptance.
Availability, vehicle class and fixed price apply only to the confirmed details. Material changes may change the price or require a new booking. A valid flight number is required for flight monitoring.
Advance notice, availability and assistance
For newly calculated public and Custom Journey quotes, standard fares apply at 6 hours or more before pickup. With less than 6 hours before pickup, the quote includes a 10% short-notice supplement, including urgent pickups under 1 hour. The supplement does not grant automatic acceptance: urgent pickups still require manual approval. There is no separate night supplement. Existing agreed quotes, bookings, expressly agreed administrator price overrides and separate corporate terms are not repriced by this policy.
Booking requests are welcome 24/7. Instant acceptance depends on calendar availability; journeys overlapping scheduled daily rest require manual review before acceptance or payment. Outside rest hours, normal booking resumes automatically without a duty shift. For pickup in under 1 hour or when instant booking is unavailable, please call to enquire or submit an unpaid request. Answering, availability, acceptance and pickup are not guaranteed. An administrator may offer an expressly agreed alternative; a call or request alone does not reserve a journey or take payment.
A newly calculated online fare is valid for 10 minutes, subject to a further availability check before checkout. If it expires or the itinerary changes, a fresh quote is shown before payment. An issued Custom Journey proposal keeps its agreed fare for the validity shown on that proposal. No supplement is added retrospectively to an accepted fare.
Normal luggage loading and unloading are included. Carrying bags on stairs, heavy luggage or extended airport assistance must be requested and separately quoted before acceptance. Additional assistance is subject to agreement and safe handling.
3. Prices, reservation payments and card authorisation
Prices are shown in euros and confirmed before payment. Every customer-facing fare is a final gross amount and includes any VAT applicable to the confirmed service; VAT is not added again at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, the quoted price covers the confirmed route, vehicle class and included waiting time. Tolls, parking, additional stops, extended waiting, cleaning, damage and customer-requested changes may be charged separately when disclosed or reasonably incurred.
The reservation payment is normally 20% for short journeys, 40% for full-day or longer intercity journeys, and 50% for manually reviewed long-distance or overnight work. Full payment is required when a short journey is booked less than 24 hours before pickup or a full-day, long-distance or manually reviewed journey is booked less than 72 hours before pickup. The exact amount is displayed before checkout.
When a balance remains, the customer authorises UNIQ WAY to save the selected card securely with Stripe, place an authorisation for the remaining balance normally 24 hours before a short journey or 72 hours before a full-day/long journey, and capture that authorised balance when the journey is marked complete. UNIQ WAY does not store full card details. If the bank requires customer authentication or rejects the authorisation, we may send a secure payment link and require payment before service.
A payment authorisation or booking hold may expire if checkout is not completed. Refunds are returned to the original payment method; bank-processing time is outside our control.
4. Changes, cancellation and refunds
Corporate customers may cancel through the cancellation control in their authenticated portal. Other requests must be sent to info@uniqway.lt. A portal cancellation takes effect when the portal displays its confirmation; an email request takes effect only when acknowledged. Changes are subject to availability.
For manually reviewed long-distance, full-day or overnight bookings, the following protected schedule applies:
| Cancellation time before pickup | Customer charge |
|---|---|
| More than 7 days | No cancellation charge; amounts paid are refundable. |
| Between 7 days and 72 hours | 50% of the confirmed booking price. |
| Less than 72 hours | 100% of the confirmed booking price. |
| No-show | 100% of the confirmed booking price. |
For other journeys, the cancellation schedule displayed in the booking confirmation applies. Where UNIQ WAY cancels for reasons within our control, the customer may choose a full refund or a reasonable replacement offered by us. This does not limit mandatory consumer rights.
5. Waiting, flight delays and no-shows
- Airport pickup: up to 60 complimentary minutes from the flight’s actual landing time when a correct flight number is supplied.
- All other pickups: up to 15 complimentary minutes from the confirmed pickup time.
- Flight delays are monitored and the pickup is adjusted when reliable flight information is available.
- Additional waiting is subject to driver availability and may be charged in 15-minute increments at the rate communicated to the customer.
A no-show occurs when the passenger cannot be located or contacted after the included waiting period using the supplied contact details. The passenger should contact UNIQ WAY promptly if passport control, baggage collection or another event causes an exceptional delay.
6. Passengers, safety, luggage and conduct
Passenger and luggage numbers must not exceed the confirmed vehicle capacity. Oversized, excessive or unusual luggage must be disclosed in advance. We may refuse unsafe or undeclared items.
Child seats must be requested in advance with the child’s approximate age/size and are subject to confirmation. Seat belts must be worn. Smoking and vaping are prohibited. Passengers must not endanger, threaten, abuse or distract the driver or damage the vehicle. We may end or refuse service where safety, legality or serious misconduct requires it, without refund where caused by the customer.
Reasonable, evidenced costs of exceptional cleaning, repairs or replacement caused by a passenger may be charged to the booking customer.
7. Service performance
We aim to provide the confirmed class but may use a comparable or higher-class vehicle where operationally necessary. Estimated journey times are not guarantees. Traffic, weather, road closures, border controls, public events and other circumstances may affect arrival times.
The customer is responsible for selecting a pickup time that allows sufficient margin for flights, trains, appointments and other onward commitments. Subcontracted licensed transport providers may perform a booking while UNIQ WAY remains the customer’s booking contact.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory passenger and consumer rights.
To the extent permitted by law, UNIQ WAY is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, missed onward travel caused by circumstances outside reasonable control, or loss arising from inaccurate customer information. Personal belongings remain the passenger’s responsibility. Report lost property promptly; storage or delivery costs may apply.
9. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, accidents, governmental restrictions, strikes, security incidents or infrastructure failure. We will take reasonable steps to inform the customer and reduce disruption.
10. Complaints, law and disputes
Complaints should be sent first to info@uniqway.lt with the booking reference and requested remedy. MB UNIQ GROUP will provide a reasoned response within 14 calendar days where Lithuanian consumer law requires it.
If a consumer dispute is not resolved, the customer may apply to the Lithuanian State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (VVTAT), A. Goštauto g. 12, LT-01108 Vilnius, via the VTIS system or the authority’s current contact channels. The former EU ODR platform was discontinued in 2025.
These terms are governed by Lithuanian law. Mandatory protections and jurisdiction rights of consumers in the EEA remain unaffected.
